Selling Stuff on eBay

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

If you are using internet for a long time or a newbie in the world of web, probably you have heard about eBay and its services. eBay is one of the best online shop where you can sell your used items without any worry. There are two options. Sell them either in auction or directly and keep the bucks in your pocket.

I am also interested to use the services of eBay. I have a great collection of stamps; in fact I have been collecting them since my childhood. Some of the stamps are really nice. It came to my mind that it would be a very good idea to sell some of the old stamps through eBay.

I have browsed through the eBay site and manuals. I have found eBay very easy to manage items and customers. There are other stamp sellers which I visited. From those stores, I got some ideas about promoting and selling my things. I think that Selling on eBay can be a great experience for me. Therefore, I have been planning my packages of stamps to sell on eBay.

By the way, eBay is a great place for selling and buying both old and new stuffs. The interesting point of selling in eBay is that if I put a product in Auction and somebody want to buy it directly without any auction, it is possible. Many other auction websites will not allow to do so.

SIC Bt - Watch, A freeware for Symbian S60 Devices

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

What is your idea about bluetooth? To my findings, it is going to be fun. In fact, bluetooth technology has been expanding its range to more and more devices. It’s not that bad actually to catch up with some newer devices that works with bluetooth. We have got printers that will print wirelessly with compatible camera or mobile phones. And what about a bluetooth watch?

Yes, there are watches that support displaying information from compatible devices. SIC Software, the German software company specializing in mobile software has recently launched SIC! BT - Watch, a software that allows to cut off wires to use the Bluetooth enabled watch to display a handful of information like Caller ID, message alerts as well as make the user to reject calls and control the inbuilt music player of any s60 v3 devices. Everything can now be controlled from your wrist!

It’s a demonstration of how Bluetooth Library on S60 mobile devices can be effectively utilized to make our mobile life more enjoyable and easy. According to the company’s official website, the software should supports all S60 3rd Edition mobile phones by Nokia, Samsung and LG.

This works with the Bluetooth watches available in the market but the most disappointing thing is that it only supports the bluetooth watches made by Sony Ericsson. Sorry to the Nokia users! (even to myself). Hope that soon more such devices will be added to the list.
