PayPerPost: Earning Money With Blog

May 31st, 2008 izephyr No comments

‘Payperpost’ - the mixture of a few alluring words sound interesting to me when I was reading an article about ‘Pay Per Click’ advertisement networks. I was only using various ‘Pay Per Click’ advertisements in my websites.

Unlike others, ‘Payperclick’ is different because of the nature of this network. The idea of Izea Inc. seem intresting to me because it is going to pay me for what I like about things. The idea is just amazing. I quicky begin to search more information about this and finally I sign up for PayPerClick.

Becoming new to the Payperpost network, I’ve been trying to catch up the things around. The setup is easy, I added my blog, wait for some days to get my blog approved for the marketplace and opted in for the available opportunities there. It was done in a brisk!

Blogging is not a new concept in the World Wide Web but it is flourishing with its increasing number of bloggers around the world. Payperpost is the service that will certainly attract more and more people to join the blogger’s community. There are two basic reasons for it: first, it is a good idea to write about things in which somebody is interested and spread it to the world and finally getting paid for that.

Payperpost is an idea that is certainly going to enrich the blogger’s universe. I am really going to enjoy my blogging experiences, especially when Payperpost is with me. And when I get paid, I am going to make money form the payperpost netwwork and invest all the returns (at least for a few months) to promote my blog and other websites of mine.

Getting a good domain name is becoming more and more dificult for the increasing demand of domains, all over the world. Now it is common that you want to register a domain and the name is gone already! Don’t be so hopeless yet. It may still be possible for you to get the domain name you want to have. Still you lose something, the TLD extension.

TLDs like .com .net or .org has been being used by so long time that most of the webspace has already been filled up with names. You have many alternative to keep the first part of your domain name as you desire. Though .com or .net is the best you must switch to alternatives. .info is the next famous name in international domains. Like .com .net and .org, .info is also becoming popular day by day. The more popular the TLD becomes, the lesser chances you get to grab your chosen domain. Get the alternatives soon! You are planning for it to be the next year but get it now. Every second counts on!

To get the best possible name for your website, you can register your domain with a CTLD also known as Country Code TLD. For example, the asian extension is .asia or European has .eu and as I have said earlier that .info is becoming very popular, you can think about it.

You can register .info with many competitive registrars.
Recommended platform is 1and1. 1and1 has presently selling the .info domain at $0.99. If you register your domain and is not going to host it, then it is going to be a great deal for you because all 1and1 domains come with a mailbox and free parking!

You can also register .com .net .org .mobi and many other TLD’s with 1and1. Its hosting packages also starts from low price and is of great service.

Web Hosting Control Panel : Your Power - Part 1

May 5th, 2008 izephyr 1 comment

We have to consider many things while hosting a website. The most important things to be noted have been posted here (click to read) in this blog already. As I have promised, I will write more for those who are looking for a great web hosting service.

Hosting Control Panel, is the thing that you should be looking for. A Web Hosting Control Panel is similar to that of windows or linux control center and is the place from where you can control all your web services related to your websites. Imagine a car without steering or gears or brakes, have no speed-meter, no control on your car! Similarly, you must have the maximum possible control over your web hosting account. It may not always be possible to get all the facilites that a web server can offer because all web hosting companies divide their services into several packages and control options vary by package to package. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced webmaster, look for at least the following things that you will be able to control from your hosting control panel.

Domain Features:
> You can host multiple domain
> Add New Domains from within your control Panel
> Modify DNS
> Modify Administrative Contacts
> Transfer the Domain to Another Web Registrar

Hosting Features:
> Web Based File Explorer from which you can easily access and manage all your files and folders without requiring a FTP software. This is useful because this obviously saves some of your bandwidth; this works because many web hosting file explorer has ability to zip/unzip files and execute the command within the server without requiring your bandwidth usage.
For example, you have zipped 100 MB files into a 650MB zip and uploaded it to the web server. It Saves 350MB of your bandwidth leaving room for more visitors. Though some hosting companies offer unlimted bandwidth, it can yet save you some times, too.

> Quota Management is another thing to consider. If you can assign quota to specific folders, monitoring them becomes easier for you. You need not to monitor manually who is exceeding their quota because with quota management a user need to manage files themselves

Email Features:
> You can add/remove or modify your email addresses easily. There should also have the modification option without having to delete the existing emails of a mailbox. This is crucial.
> You can add/remove mail forwarders
> Has features like filtering, spam protection, automatic folder selection

Website Statistics:
> There should be a visual representation of your visitor data, categorized into various types like ip, referrer, browser types, and many others

These are the basics. Most web hosting provider will give you some or all of these options yet I’m writing about these just for you can confirm about these features at your hosting providers control panel.

There are thousands of more options of which I am presently writing about and hope to publish them very soon.
