is Savage Garden lost?

June 28th, 2008 izephyr 1 comment

In the college, I was a fan of Savage Garden, the band with great songs like To the Moon and Back and Affirmations. I am still in love with Savage Garden Songs. But where are they? They are not in a new production for a long time, they are not doing performances now and then. Won’t they return to their fan’s. It was striking to see no activities of one of my favourite bands. I like the other’s but I really miss Savage Garden.

Recently I have joined the Facebook group about Savage Garden’s Return. We all wish that they return and give us some good music like the past.

Yesterday Was Great : We Met Silvia

Yesterday was a great day for me. As like the other holidays, I joined a party with my friends. One of my friends cousin was there who was a utter surprise for me because I never expected her at that party. Not only me, everyone was surprised to see her.

She’s at the 12th grade and she told us about her college life. She said that it was to difficult to cope with the study. From her conversation, it was clear that she was under pressure about her studies at college. We all, her seniors, wished that she could overcome the difficulties in her studies and achieve a good result in her exams.

However, the party continued till about 10pm and we all returned home. The evening I enjoyed very much.

On the web, I came across a good person Joseph Baniak who served the US Air Force for 14 years. He is an MBA and served positions performing duties like project management, procurement, mission coordinate and small group leadership.

During his service, he worked as a Program Manager in Iraq and as Maintenance Operations Officer in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

While serving the position of Program Manager for the United States Air Force in Iraq, Major Joseph Baniak used to analyze problems on a daily basis to formulate decisions under the pressure of a war zone. He coordinated available training resources and supply assets to maintain and sustain a 455 member organization. He was also set in duty to oversee the management of a 980 bed Airman dormitory along with the a massive 272 thousand square feet training facility.

He managed operations of 450 military, civilian and contractor personnel in 40 USAF career specialties as a Maintenance Operations Officer. In Iraq and Afghanistan, he trained, inspected and otherwise prepared 300 personnel on safe and successful deployments.

He traveled a lot around the world but after retiring from the military, Joseph Baniak is seeking a position to show off his industry skills and abilities in leadership and logistics in a organization with a presence in the Middle East because of his likeness of the Middle East Zone.

You can read about him on his website here and his blog here.

Seems Facebook Server is Down

June 25th, 2008 izephyr No comments

I have been trying to log in to the facebook for about half an hour but the server is not responding. The browser says that Server Not Found. At first I thought that my internet connection was causing the trouble. I checked and reconnected to the internet. But Facebook is not opening yet. Then I tried to open other webpages they are opening just good.

So, it seems that Facebook server is down, though I did not find any notification whether it was under any kind of maintenance. Hope the server will be up soon.

Do You Flock? I recommend it!

”Flock” is the recently popular web browser. Being based on Mozilla, Flock is also an open source browser with probably the same extensions working though i did not yet try any Mozilla extension to it.

The most important and charming thing in Flock, is that it has some built-in interface for some of your favourite social networking websites that can keep you logged on even if you have closed the browser and came back at a later time. Almost all the favourite social networks like facebook or twitter and sharing site like digg or flickr can be easily accessible with Flock.

So, are you not Flocking? get it from here.

Blogging Experiences : After the First Month

I must confess that I am a New Blogger in the blogger’s universe. Yet I am very much hopeful that I will make my way out of the crowd. Though the development so far is not so fast. I don’t want to get rich overnight!

I think I’m gradually getting addicted to my blogs. That’s why I’ve decided to start another blog. But not now really. I must take some time because to do something good, I must do something that will really be praiseworthy.

I hope that someday I will be a good blogger and provide the people with greater information about the things I find interesting.
