My Phone’s Browser : Resource Hungry
I am dependent on my handset for several reasons. Other than just talking I use the internet on it now and then. The mobiles built in browser is just good. And to browse the internet to the fullest extent, I downloaded the S60 browser and installed it on my handset.
The browser is working well but it crashed several times today. I was just shocked at the events! I was doing some important jobs and when it crashed the works are all just gone. Irreversible. I had to start it again. After I diagnose the events, I find that the browser required a good amount of RAM which the smartphone was unable to provide with. Later I restarted my phone and started it at the beginning. It took nearly 10MB of my RAM!
However, it is useful but I must be careful in the future that when I am using the browser, I should restart the phone first and run not many applications before I am done with the browser.
