Email Marketing : Your Distinction from Spammers

Spamming is the main enemy of Email marketing because every day millions of emails are sent as spam. That’s why more users have become aware of the fact about spamming and uses spam filters on their mailboxes. Therefore, it is necessary to keep your mail out of suspect. There are several things to do for that. I’m just talking about some basic but helpful checklist for email marketing.

1. Encourage your users to opt-in to your email newsletter service. You know a thousands of emails but never send them a message unless they are really interested in your company or product.

2. Do not send marketing announcements frequenly. Rather make a plan to integrate all your offers in a single mail by providing hyperlinks to your website or the specific page. This will be helpful because users will recieve less email but all emails will be loaded with information about the products they are interested in. you can easily put 10 offers into one message. Just think you recieved 1 message each day! how annoying that could be though you wanted information about their products. You can also give people the preference of the mailing, this will help your customers to feel more satisfied about you. You may ask them whether to send mails about short-timed offers or not. This will enable the person not to miss the best thing even receiveing less email.

3. Content of the mail must be relevant and interesting. Make your reader feel interested about your email so that he reads them all!

4. It is a good practice tp include your physical address in all your messages. The users will be sure of your identity.

4.There should be an in-mail opt-out link and a very easy process for unsubscription. you may also include a feedback request from your user at the end of the message.

5. Finally make sure that your messages are sent to the right demographic groups. If your product is about academics, send your message to students or teachers. Target your age-group and geographical location.

I hope this will help you to make your move on the world of email marketing. Meet your customers on the email!
