September 16th, 2008

Opera Mini is one of the most popular mobile web browser and has gained many more users around the world since it launched its software version 4.1 which enables users to save files and see the page almost as seen in the pc.

Now, as Opera has more users and more importantly competitors are emerging in the mobile browser industry like Teashark or Skyfire, they have increased their data centers and is trying to make sure that they don’t fall behind the race. So, they have launched a program called Opera Mini Global Test v4.1 to test the system before the data centers are officially open to all the users.

Anybody is free to participate the program and send feedback to Opera. I have downloaded the software and is using along with the stable version of opera mini. After all they are testing it and may not be as stable as the current standard release.

Currently Testing - a Special Build of T9 Nav beta

September 12th, 2008

My handset is Nokia 3250 which is a first generation of Symbian’s S60 3rd Edition platform and has lower resources than the other s60 v3 devices. So, I have been facing more resource scarcity with my phone and the software was not performing that much good. I told the developers about my problems in their beta test survey and they offered me a special build for my handset.

I have uninstalled the previous version and installed the special build on my handset. At a first glance, there are certain improvements already but it is not easy to assume the whole thing now. I must use the software for some more time to make sure that the build is good for this handset.

Favorite American Seafood Recipe

September 12th, 2008

I like to have seafood a lot and one of my favorite sea foods is Shrimp. On the web, I came across the website of a competition in which the top seafood recipes from some great chefs from different parts of the USA are in a rumble to become the winner. There were some fabulous items that I would really enjoy devouring! There were recipes from great chefs from across the US and they all are trying to best to satisfy the taste to win the crown. Myself, I found my favorite Shrimp in Mark Holley’s recipe Texas Gulf Shrimp. What else can be tastier other than Shrimp? I think shrimp is the best seafood available that everybody likes. Shrimps can be even tastier especially when they are cooked by tomato relish with prickly pear and black beans.

Thanks to the American cook off competition which I personally found very much interesting. I Entered the Recipe Contest to vote for my favourite recipe. Do you like seafood? In fact, Sea food is very healthy as well as tasty in comparison with many other food categories. If the sea food is local then it will reach to your kitchen fast and would be fresh when you are cooking it off. So, you get the advantages of having fresh food which is healthy and tasty at the same time.
Then what is your favorite American Seafood Recipe? If you are not sure, take a look at www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com where you will definitely find one recipe that you like. You can also vote for your favourite American seafood recipe.
